New Orleans Saints Sign Cornerback

The New Orleans Saints have re-signed defensive back Isaac Yiadom, adding to their experienced secondary.

Yiadom has played for several teams, including the Houston Texans, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, and the Denver Broncos, who drafted him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft from Boston College.

He has nearly 1,500 defensive snaps and almost 1,000 special teams snaps in his career.

Last season, Yiadom began with the Texans but was released in November, and the Saints signed him to their practice squad two days later. Yiadom ended up playing six games for the Saints, contributing on special teams but not seeing any defensive snaps.

Despite facing tough competition in the Saints' cornerback group, Yiadom has proven valuable as a special teams player, which is a role that is highly valued by the Saints' coaching staff in their defensive backs.

Yiadom will be part of a cornerback depth chart that includes Marshon Lattimore, Paulson Adebo, Alontae Taylor, Bradley Roby, Vincent Gray, and Troy Pride Jr.
