With Jakobi Meyers expected to test the market, New England is looking at a potential replacement for him at wide receiver. As a result, they are reportedly set to make a push for fellow free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham Jr. missed all of the 2022 season due to a torn ACL, but he is still garnering plenty of interest around the league because he is a star who will make a big impact for any team that signs him. As a result, it makes sense that the Patriots want to sign him. When looking at how poor their offense was last season, bringing in a high-impact WR like OBJ sounds like a great idea on paper.
