Although this is not a major move, the Patriots are keeping a solid piece of their depth with Ferentz. The 33-year-old appeared in 12 games for New England last campaign and started in three of them. Overall, he has proven that he is a useful option to have a rainy day, and he will continue to be for New England in 2023.
Ferentz will also continue to be a good veteran for the Patriots to have around. After all, he has seven years of NFL experience, so he should work well as a mentor to their younger players.
Overall, this is a small signing by the Patriots but also not a bad one in the slightest. Let's see how much of an impact Ferentz can make for New England during the 2023 campaign from here.
