New Carolina Panthers Wide Receiver Chose Them Over Two Other Teams
The Carolina Panthers off-season has been a wild one thus far, and after trading away D.J. Moore in the deal to acquire the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, they needed to find themselves a new No. 1 on the outside.
They did just that yesterday when they signed former Minnesota Vikings star Adam Thielen, and on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday, he said that he chose Carolina over both Dallas and Denver, saying that the Panthers could win a Super Bowl.
At this point, Carolina have some talented young players and a great coaching staff, but to say they are a Super Bowl contender, even in a weakened NFC is a bit of a stretch, so it's tough to see how this one will play out for Thielen.New #Panthers WR Adam Thielen says on @PatMcAfeeShow that he also had conversations with the #Cowboys and #Broncos before choosing Carolina.
