Minnesota Vikings Sign Pro-Bowl Fullback To Two-Year Deal

The Minnesota Vikings have signed veteran fullback C.J. Ham to a two-year contract extension.

Ham has spent all six of his NFL seasons with the Vikings, and was set to make around $3 million in the upcoming season with a $3.8 million salary-cap hit. However, no official terms of the deal have been revealed.

Ham has been an important part of the Vikings' running game, helping to open up space for star running back Dalvin Cook.

While he rarely touches the ball on offense, Ham has proven to be a reliable blocker and solid special teams player, earning a Pro Bowl nod alongside Cook after the 2019 season.

The 29-year-old has rushed the ball just 36 times for 97 yards and three touchdowns in his career, with two of those touchdowns coming last season.

He has also caught 70 passes for 610 yards and two TD receptions in his 96 games.
