Lowry, who was drafted by the Packers in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, played in 111 games for the team and recorded 253 tackles, 15.5 sacks, one interception, four fumble recoveries and 16 passes defended.
After signing a three-year extension with the Packers in 2019, Lowry had an inconsistent performance, recording 8.5 sacks over two years but dropping to 0.5 sacks in the 2022 season.
Despite this, the Vikings are optimistic about his abilities, especially with Brian Flores as their new defensive coordinator.
Don’t look at this Dean Lowry signing as a guy who is going to be a consistent starter for the team.

He’s likely a rotational player with high upside who can help get interior pressure on opposing teams pic.twitter.com/JDFQjoEen5
Lowry's most recent season was cut short by a calf injury, but he is expected to play a vital role on Minnesota's defensive line in the upcoming season.
