Minnesota Vikings Rumors: DT Becoming Free-Agent Target

Javon Hargrave is one of the top free-agent defensive tackles this offseason, and several teams are preparing to pursue if the Philadelphia Eagles are unable to ink him to a new deal. One specific team that is ready to make a big push for the seven-year veteran is the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings need to improve their defense this offseason, and this was made abundantly clear when seeing how their 2022 season finished. As a result, it makes sense that they are taking a look Hargrave. The one-time Pro Bowler is coming off of a very strong 2022 campaign that saw him record 60 combined tackles to go along with a career-high 11.0 sacks.

If the Eagles decide to move on from Hargrave, do not be surprised to see the Vikings make a major offer to him. He is exactly the kind of player that the Vikings need to help strengthen their roster, but we will need to wait and see if they do in fact with the sweepstakes this offseason from here.
