Minnesota Vikings Likely To Cut Veteran Safety
The Minnesota Vikings have clearly made it their mission this off-season to cut as much salary cap space as possible as they look to improve on an impressive 2022 season, and after three big cuts already, at least one more appears to be on the horizon.
According to reports, all signs are pointing to Minnesota cutting veteran safety Harrison Smith in the coming days, which would make the third key defensive starter cut in the past few days, making it clear that the team wants big changes.
Smith was once again great for Minnesota in 2022, but with such a massive cap hit, it makes some sense as to why the Vikings want to move on from him, but now they need to pick up some key pieces if they are to be just as good as they were in 2022.Update: "Signs point" to the #Vikings cutting veteran Safety Harrison Smith, per @DWolfsonKSTP
