According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Los Angeles Chargers have reportedly come to an agreement with Easton Stick to retain him as their backup quarterback behind Justin Herbert.
There have been rumors circulating that veteran quarterback Chase Daniel may be retiring from football to join the media industry after splitting time between the Chargers and NFL Network during the 2022 season.

While Justin Herbert remains the Chargers' starting quarterback, both of last year's backup quarterbacks, Stick and Chase Daniel, have played out their contracts. Although it is unclear whether Daniel will return, Stick will remain behind Herbert on the depth chart for another year.
Head coach Brandon Staley has praised Stick for his professionalism and his positive impact in the locker room, which is likely a reason why the team has opted to keep him around. Photo Credit: Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports
