Los Angeles Chargers 25-Year Old Safety Announces Retirement
Los Angeles Chargers' safety Nasir Adderley has announced his retirement from the NFL, as reported by Daniel Popper of The Athletic.
Adderley made the announcement in an Instagram post, saying that he has decided to put himself first and walk away from the game of football after a period of self-reflection.

The 25-year-old former second-round pick cited his health and the desire to spend more time with loved ones as the reasons behind his decision.
Adderley played four seasons with the Chargers, starting 44 games and posting 232 tackles and three interceptions while breaking up 12 passes. He was an unrestricted free agent at the time of his retirement.

He was a former second-round pick by the Chargers in the 2019 NFL Draft.
