Jacksonville Jaguars To Move On From Veteran Cornerback
All the talk surrounding the Jacksonville Jaguars this past season was the development of young Trevor Lawrence and this talented offence, but on the other side of the ball, the defence took a step forward as this squad looks to become an all around elite force in the AFC South.
However, they need to make some more moves to step into the elite category, and on Thursday, it's been revealed that the team are expected to release or trade cornerback Shaquill Griffin over the next few days, a move which would save them $13M against the salary cap.
At 27, Griffin still has plenty to offer, and if he does become a free agent, he should again be one of the most coveted players at his position, so keep an eye on his market in the coming days. The #Jaguars are expected to release or attempt to trade CB Shaquill Griffin in the coming days, per sources. A release would save $13.1 million in cap space.

Still just 27 and a former Pro Bowler, Griffin figures to be a key player in the cornerback market.
