Green Bay Packers Sign Veteran Linebacker
The Green Bay Packers have re-signed Eric Wilson, a six-year veteran who previously joined the team midway through the 2022 season after being signed from the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.
Wilson's primary contribution during his time with the Packers was on special teams, where he managed to make 17 tackles (9 of them solo) and one sack in 13 games.

Wilson's experience and versatility are expected to play a crucial role in providing depth for the Packers' 3-4 defensive scheme.
Over his six-year career, the 28-year-old has recorded 296 total tackles, nine sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four interceptions, and nine passes defended across 91 games.
The fact that the Packers re-signed him suggests that they value his skills and see him as an asset to the team.
