Former Washington Commanders QB Has No Plans To Retire
The Washington Commanders may have showed promise in 2022, but they ultimately ended up disappointing, and perhaps the biggest reason for this is the play of Carson Wentz, who ultimately was released at seasons end following another poor year.
At 30-years of age, there was some speculation that this could be it for him in the NFL, but at the NFL Combine, Wentz was spotted working with his agents to find him a new deal somewhere in the NFL, and is reportedly willing to play any role to make that happen.
Given his play in Philadelphia, Indianapolis and Washington, that has led to him being traded twice and released once, his days as a full-time starter are clearly over, but if he can be a backup and a good presence, he'll find a job somewhere.Last night in Indy, former #Commanders QB Carson Wentz was spotted (by my eyeballs) downtown having dinner with his agents. He's determined to continue playing and is open to various roles that can help a team.
