Former New York Jets QB Has Eyes On Miami Dolphins Backup Role
The Miami Dolphins have assembled one of the best offensive units in the entire NFL, and it's safe to say that players around the league have noticed, and on Friday, one of their division rivals best players from 2022 could have his eye on joining the group.
That would be New York Jets Quarterback Mike White, who said that while returning to the Jets would be ideal, he would 100% be interested in heading to South Beach as Tua Tagovailoa's backup, as he grew up in the area and recognizes the talent on this team.
Right now, it's tough to tell what the Dolphins plans are this off-season, but if they want a veteran QB to step in and play if Tagovailoa ever gets hurt again, White would certainly be a fantastic and likely very cheap option.Mike White also said he would “hundred percent” be interested in a backup job with the Dolphins. “Selfishly, from a personal standpoint, obviously growing up down there, I'd love to go home. But from a football standpoint, it's a very talented offense” https://t.co/gJRkO09wIQ
