Falcons Sign DE Gaziano

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Monday that they have signed defensive end Joe Gaziano to a one-year deal.

Gaziano, who joined the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2020, went through LA's practice squad and active roster multiple times in three seasons with the team before being put on injured reserve on December 21, 2022.

Gaziano appeared in 21 games over three seasons with the Chargers (14 in 2021) and recorded 22 tackles with 1.0 sacks in his brief tenure so far in the NFL.

The Falcons are looking to bolster their defensive core in 2022-23 with the acquisition of Gaziano.
