Denver Broncos Waive Young Defensive Back
The Denver Broncos came into 2022 with plenty of expectations, and after failing miserably on the offensive side of the ball, this off-season is key to competing in what is now one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, and the key to that is keeping their defence at an elite level.
Unfortunately, one player that now won't be contributing to the team in 2023 is young defensive back Lamar Jackson, as he was officially waived by the team today after joining them in 2022 and playing a good role for the team.
The 24-year old has split his time in the NFL with the New York Jets and Denver Broncos, and while it's unlikely he becomes a starter in the near future, he's a great depth piece for any team, and will be picked up in the coming days. The Broncos have waived DB Lamar Jackson.
