Denver Broncos Release Veteran Cornerback
After an incredibly disappointing 2022 season, the Denver Broncos are looking to make some major changes this off-season, and after bringing in Super Bowl winning Head Coach Sean Payton, the next changes need to come on the field.
After releasing Chase Edmonds earlier in the day, Denver have now followed it up by releasing veteran cornerback Ronald Darby, who has been with the team for the past two seasons, and been very effective in his role.
The 29-year old carries a cap hit of $12.7M, so it's very understandable that they want to clear up space, and with plenty of cap space now, they can make some moves to bring in young, talented pieces to help this team succeed in 2023.Source: The #Broncos are releasing CB Ronald Darby, who had a $12.7M cap hit.
