Cowboys Sign RB Jones
The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a deal with running back Ronald Jones, according to ESPN's Todd Archer.
The Cowboys have agreed to a deal with RB Ronald Jones, who visited The Star Monday, per source. Jones spent last year with KC after a four-year run with Tampa Bay. His best year was in 2020: 192 carries, 978 yards, 7 TDs. He played in only six games last year with Chiefs.

A rather quick signing by the Cowboys as Jones visited Dallas just on Monday, and they could use his services in the 2022-23 season to help fill the void of recently released veteran RB Ezekiel Elliot.
Jones, a two-time Super Bowl champion, was originally drafted by Tampa Bay as a second-rounder in 2018, and spent four seasons there. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on March 27, 2022.
The former USC product has appeared in 61 games (25 starts) tallying 505 rushes for 2244 yards, 19 touchdowns, and has averaged 4.4 yards a carry.
