Cleveland Browns Sign Veteran Backup Quarterback
The Cleveland Browns 2022 off-season was marred with controversy, and that continued into the season, and until DeShaun Watson returned from suspension, veteran Quarterback Jacoby Brissett played a great role for this team.
His backup throughout that time was veteran Joshua Dobbs, who was eventually released following Watson's return, but now after some good playing time in Tennessee, he has officially returned to Cleveland on a one-year deal.
Dobbs was a fourth round pick back in the 2017 NFL Draft, and while he's yet to get significant playing time as a starter, he's the perfect backup for the Browns in 2023, and will no doubt play a crucial role for this team.Pumped for @josh_dobbs1 agreeing to a 1 year contract with the @Browns
