Cleveland Browns Re-Sign Veteran Linebacker
The Cleveland Browns are heading into what could be one of the most important off-seasons in recent franchise history, and on Wednesday, they made several moves that make them better in the immediate future.
One of those moves was the acquisition of young wide receiver Elijah Moore from the Cleveland Browns, and the other was the re-signing of veteran linebacker Anthony Walker, who signs his third straight one-year deal in Cleveland.
In six seasons at the NFL level, Walker has racked up 459 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 13 pass deflections and 3 interceptions, and while he's not become the star he is potentially capable of, he's more than a solid player, and remains in the home he's found with the Cleveland Browns.Updates: Anthony Walker Jr. agrees to one-year deal to return to Cleveland #Browns https://t.co/GFb7rzRnRD via @beaconjournal
