Cincinnati Bengals Re-Sign Starting Linebacker
The Cincinnati Bengals have put together one of the best rosters in the NFL over a very short period of time since 2020, and after losing their two starting safeties on the first day of free agency, they'll need to make some big moves if they are finally to taste Super Bowl glory.
It may not be the biggest news, but today they officially re-signed starting linebacker Germaine Pratt to a three-year, $21 million deal that will keep him in Cincinnati as the leader of this defence for years to come.
The 26-year old was a third round pick back in 2019, and has been an improving player ever since his rookie year, and with a career high in interceptions, sacks and passes defended in 2022, it's clear that his best days are still ahead of him.The #Bengals are re-signing LB Germaine Pratt to a three-year, $21 million deal, per source. He gets $10.35M in Year 1 and $15.15M over two years. He’s started 54 career games and now stays in Cincinnati.
