The Kansas City Chiefs have signed defensive lineman Byron Cowart, according to his agency JL Sports.

Cowart, a former Colts player last season, appeared in all 17 games for Indianapolis posting 12 tackles, including two for loss.
The 26-year-old, who was drafted by the Patriots as a fifth-rounder in 2019, missed the entirety of 2021 season due to injury and was waived by New England on July 22, 2022 after three seasons. He was claimed by the Colts in the summer of 2022.
The Chiefs are looking to increase their defensive line with the addition of Cowart for the 2022-23 season.
