Chicago Bears Sign Veteran Tight End
There's been plenty of active teams in the NFL thus far this off-season, but few have done more to improve their team than the Chicago Bears, and on Thursday night, they made yet another good move that will help their emerging young Quarterback.
With Cole Kmet leading the way at the tight end spot last year, he now has some veteran help, as the team have come to terms with former division rival Robert Tonyan, who has been very consistent in a backup role over the past few years in Green Bay.
With a good running back core, two solid tight ends and a fantastic wide receiver group, the Bears could be a very tough team to slow down in 2023 if Justin Fields can take the next step, but for the Chicago front office, they've done a fantastic job.Bears are signing former Packers’ TE Robert Tonyan to a one-year deal, per source.
