Chicago Bears Sign Emerging Young Running Back
The Chicago Bears have been doing everything possible this off-season to support the development of their young Quarterback Justin Fields, and on Thursday, they landed a double signing that will no doubt help him even more going forward.
After losing David Montgomery in free agency, the Bears have turned their attention to a young backup for Khalil Herbert, and that's exactly what they found in former Carolina Panther D'Onta Foreman to the tune of one-year, $3 million.
Foreman emerged as a genuine threat in 2022, racking up a career high 914 rushing yards and 5 Touchdowns for Carolina, and with the threat of Fields and Herbert already, this could become an incredibly tough offence to stop.Bears are signing former Panthers’ RB D’Onta Foreman to a 1-year, $3 million deal, per source.
