Chicago Bears Rumors: Free-Agent Tight End On Team's Radar
Mike Gesicki is starting to get more attention around the league with free agency getting closer. Several teams have been linked to him, but now a new one has entered the mix, as the Chicago Bears are interested in signing the tight end.
After a truly horrendous 2022 season, the Bears are getting ready to make changes to their group. Their goal in 2023 is to be far more competitive, and they have been looking at several free agents because of it. Now, there's confirmation that they are aiming to sign Gesicki to help strengthen their offense.
Gesicki appeared in 17 games last season for the Dolphins, where he recorded five touchdowns, 32 receptions, and 362 receiving yards. He was not utilized as much in 2022 by Miami, but he was still effective in the process. Therefore, he is ready for a change of scenery, and the Bears stand out as a prime landing spot for him because of it. Let's see if they end up winning the sweepstakes from here.
