Carolina Panthers Sign Wide Receiver

The Carolina Panthers have added another wide receiver to their roster, as they have signed DJ Chark to a one-year contract.

The Panthers were viewed as among the frontrunners for Chark's services, so this signing is not too surprising. However, it certainly has the potential to be a very good one for the Panthers, as he will only improve their offense for the 2023 campaign.

Chark appeared in 11 games this past season with the Detroit Lions, where he recorded three touchdowns, 30 receptions, and 502 receiving yards. Overall, it was another solid year for him, and now he will be aiming to build off of that as a Panther from here.

Chark has five years of NFL experience on his resume split between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Lions. In 54 career games over that span, he has 18 touchdowns, 177 receptions, and 2,544 receiving yards. With that, he made a Pro Bowl appearance during the 2019 season with Jacksonville.
