Carolina Panthers Land Veteran Safety
The Carolina Panthers turned their season around late in 2022 in a big way, and while the running game and the offence get the majority of the credit for that, the defence was fantastic all season long, and is clearly the strength of this team going forward.
On the first day of free agency, the team have now made a massive addition to that talented unit that already included Jaycee Horn, Shaq Thompson and Brian Burns, as they have agreed to terms with veteran safety Vonn Bell.
The 28-year old was a second round pick of the New Orleans Saints back in 2016, and has been fantastic for them and Cincinnati over his tenure in the NFL, and while they'll still need to make more moves to compete in 2023, this is certainly a great start.Safety Vonn Bell is signing with the Panthers.
