BREAKING: Cleveland Browns Sign Coveted Defensive Tackle

The Cleveland Browns have made a big move in the first day of free agency by signing former Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson.

Tomlinson will be joining the team on a four-year contract worth $57.5 million, which includes $27.5 million guaranteed.

Despite a calf injury that caused him to miss four games in 2022, Tomlinson has been consistently impressive throughout his six NFL seasons, with 39 to 59 tackles in each of them.

In his two seasons with the Vikings, he recorded five sacks, 37 solo tackles, five tackles for loss, 17 QB hits, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 29 regular season starts.

Tomlinson's presence will help overhaul the Browns' defensive line, which has been overly reliant on Myles Garrett, by providing a strong interior presence.

Over his six-year career, the 29-year-old has recorded 288 total tackles, 13 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and seven passes defended across 93 games.
