Atlanta Falcons Sign Former First-Round Cornerback
The Atlanta Falcons have made some fantastic moves this off-season thus far, with the highlight of all being the addition of Jessie Bates to this defence, and on Monday, they made another solid addition on that side of the ball.
This one is more of a risk, as they have signed Mike Hughes, a first-round pick from the 2018 NFL Draft, but unfortunately, he hasn't panned out quite like the Minnesota Vikings had envisioned when they picked him No. 30 overall.
Since the Vikings days, he has played with Kansas City and Detroit, but at 26-years of age, he still has plenty of time to live up to that hype, and with A.J. Terrell leading the way in the cornerback room, this could be his chance to turn his career around.Mike Hughes is now expected to sign with the #Falcons, sources say. Another defensive addition for ATL. https://t.co/plUOe8TljT
