Arizona Cardinals Release Veteran Defender
The Arizona Cardinals may feel like they have some key pieces sorted for the future of the franchise, but unfortunately, they just don't have the depth that is needed to compete, so over the past few days, they've made it clear that a rebuild could be on the way.
On Friday, the team officially came to the release of veteran linebacker/defensive end Markus Golden, who played three years with the Cardinals in his second stint with the team, and will now look to continue his fantastic career elsewhere.
The 31-year old has been in the NFL since way back in 2015, and over that time he's racked up 47 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, 1 interception and 1 defensive Touchdown, and while he's getting up there in age, it appears he still has plenty to give, so watch a very good market appear for him next week.#Cardinals have officially released LB/DE Markus Golden.
