Washington Commanders Sign Two Players To Extensions
The Washington Commanders may have missed the playoffs in 2022, but they took a big step forward with a talented young team, and with a new Offensive Coordinator and new starter in 2023, things could be looking up in a big way.
It's the defence that has elite potential however, and before free agency began, the team made two very solid moves for the future of that defence be signing both linebacker David Mayo and running back Jonathan Williams to one-year extensions.
Neither player can be considered a star in the NFL, but with so many injuries, depth is just as important these days, and if the team can find the answer at Quarterback, watch out for the Commanders in the NFC East in 2023.#Commanders have signed RB Jonathan Williams and LB David Mayo to 1-year contract extensions for the 2023 season.pic.twitter.com/65eP0bcME6
