Washington Commanders Complete Interview With 49ers Coach For OC Role
The Washington Commanders, despite having less talent than the teams around them in the NFC East, manage to compete year after year, but with Head Coach Ron Rivera looking to win big now, they need to take that next step.
In order to do that, they need to find their next star Quarterback, with Sam Howell likely to be the starter going forward, and to get him going, they'll need a veteran Offensive Coordinator, so today, the team officially completed an interview with San Francisco 49ers Assistant Head Coach Anthony Lynn.
The former Chargers Head Coach has been in the NFL as an offensive guru since back in 2000, and while he may not be the best man for the job, given how much they've managed to get out of Taylor Heinicke in recent years, he could very well be the man to lead this offence forward. The #Commanders will interview #49ers assistant HC and RBs coach Anthony Lynn today for their offensive coordinator opening.
