Veteran QB Interested In Working With New York Jets Head Coach
Derek Carr officially became a free agent last week, and is expected to have plenty of suitors ahead of 2023 free agency, but so far, they've met with just two teams; the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets.
Now, his brother has spoken at length about Derek's potential future, saying that New York Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh and Carr really hit it off, and 'they would love to work together', which is a great sign for a franchise that's struggled to become a destination in recent times.
There's plenty of variables before Carr signs a contract somewhere, but the Jets are desperate for a Quarterback to lead them forward, and while Carr may not be a superstar, he's certainly a great player, and with the Jets elite defence and young weapons, it could be a match made in heaven.David Carr talking about Derek’s meeting with the #Jets on NFL Network: “Robert Saleh is great.
