Titans Star DT Confident He Can Work Out A New Contract This Off-Season
The Tennessee Titans finished their 2022 season in disappointing fashion, losing 7 of their last 8 games to lose the AFC South division crown to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but with a talented roster, they certainly have a chance to bounce back in 2023.
If they are to do that, then bringing back their defensive leader Jeffery Simmons contract extension should be a massive priority heading into the off-season, and when he was asked about this, Simmons expressed his confidence in the two sides coming together for a big deal.
2022 was once again another fantastic year for the former first round pick, as he racked up 7.5 sacks, 54 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 7 passes deflected, and if he can lead the defence once again and they can stay healthy, they'll be competing in the AFC South once again.Jeffery Simmons 'Very Confident' About Extension With Titans https://t.co/vOlHEOsFEr #Titans pic.twitter.com/8X90JfXdUk
