Tennessee Titans Release Veteran Linebacker
The Tennessee Titans had quite the day on Wednesday, as they cut not one, not two, not three but officially four veteran players, the last of which being veteran linebacker Zach Cunningham as they look to create cap room to rebuild this team in 2023.
Cunningham has been solid for the Titans over the past few seasons, but it's clear that they are now going in a new direction, and his cap hit getting off the books is a positive for this team going forward, so this move makes complete sense.
Unfortunately for the Titans, Cunningham has just been too injury prone, as has the rest of the squad, resulting in a disappointing 2022 campaign, but with them targeting a new Quarterback, expect a fresh, new outlook on this team in 2023.The #Titans are also releasing veteran LB Zach Cunningham, per source.
