Tennessee Titans Release Veteran Kicker
The Tennessee Titans made waves this morning when they finally released star left tackle Taylor Lewan, and followed it up with veteran wide receiver Robert Woods, and now, they've also let go of veteran kicker Randy Bullock.
All of this was done to get under the salary cap, as they were $25 million over when the day began, and while Bullock will only save them $2 million, it certainly wasn't his best year, and the team believe they can find a replacement at a cheaper rate.
The 10-year veteran has kicked for six teams in his career thus far, converting 211/253 attempts over that time, and with so many teams having a need for a consistent kicker, there's no doubting that he'll find his way onto another NFL roster this off-season.The #Titans are also releasing veteran kicker Randy Bullock. That will save another $2M in salary cap space.
