Star Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Announces Retirement
While he may not go down in history as being linked to the Arizona Cardinals, today, AJ Green, who spent the last two years of his career in Phoenix officially announced his retirement from the NFL, and while injuries slowed him down towards the end of his time, he was an incredible receiver for many years in the NFL.
Green spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, racking up an impressive 649 catches for 9,430 yards and 65 Touchdowns, and will rightfully be remembered as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL of this past generation.Thank You A.J. 👏 pic.twitter.com/HEo5jolYov

He will finish his overall 11-year career with 727 catches for 10,514 yards and 70 Touchdowns, and while a lot of newer fans may not recognize his greatness due to a few down years in recent times, he deserves respect among the best of this past generation with names like Julio Jones, as he was also awarded 2 All Pro's and 7 Pro Bowl nominations over that time.
