Seattle Seahawks Coach Has Second Interview For Eagles DC Position
The Seattle Seahawks had a fantastic 2022 season, and it was clearly noticed around the league, as their QB Coach Dave Canales left for the Offensive Coordinator role in Tampa Bay, and now, the teams Associate Head Coach has his second interview with the Philadelphia Eagles for their vacant Defensive Coordinator role.
That would be Sean Desai, the 39-year old who served as the Chicago Bears Defensive Coordinator in 2021, and with plenty of experience and youth on his side, he would be a fantastic candidate for the Eagles going forward.
While they may lose some pieces on the defensive side of the ball to free agency, the Eagles still have one of the deepest and most talented defence's in the entire NFL, and if they can add a veteran like Desai, it would be a fantastic replacement for Jonathan Gannon.#Seahawks associate head coach and defensive assistant Sean Desai is in the building in Philly today, doing a second interview for the #Eagles vacant DC job, per me and @MikeGarafolo. Desai, a Vic Fangio disciple, is a finalist for the post previously held by Jonathan Gannon.
