San Francisco 49ers Star Tackle Confirms He'll Play In 2023
The San Francisco 49ers may have fallen in the NFC Championship Game to the Philadelphia Eagles, but it took four injuries to the Quarterback position to make it happen, and as they look to 2023, they have as good a chance as anyone at making it back to the Super Bowl.
To do that, they'll need to protect their QB's next season, so today, the team got confirmation that superstar left tackle Trent Williams will indeed play on, as he had hinted at a potential retirement over the past few weeks, but has told the media that he'll not only play in 2023, but will be around for 2024 as well.
Over his 13-year career, Williams has been nominated to 10 Pro Bowls, as well as being a 3-time All-Pro, and is regarded as one of the greatest left tackles of all time, so if he can secure a Super bowl win in his final two years, it will be a fitting end to an amazing career.#49ers Left Tackle Trent Williams confirms he'll be back next season.
