San Francisco 49ers Star Backs Brock Purdy As The Starter In 2023
The San Francisco 49ers fell apart in the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles after rookie Brock Purdy went down with an injury, and now, it's seemingly left the competition for the position wide open heading into 2023.
If you ask the 49ers offensive players however, that isn't the case, as George Kittle went on record today saying that it's Purdy's job to lose this off-season, declaring him the future of the franchise at the most important position in the NFL.
Given how well he handled the offence, it makes sense that the team are in support of Purdy, but if Lance can come into his own once again, this could be one of the hottest position battles in the league this off-season.When asked about which QB is the future of the #49ers, star TE George Kittle picked Brock Purdy over Trey Lance, saying that it's: "His job to lose."
