Philadelphia Eagles Interview Two Coaches For Defensive Coordinator Role
The Philadelphia Eagles have had a tough couple of weeks, as they first lost Super Bowl LVII in agonizing fashion to the Kansas City Chiefs, before losing not one, but both of their Coordinators the next day, and now, they've begun what's expected to be a thorough search to replace them both.
Yesterday, they added two more candidates to the mix, with Rams defensive backs coach/pass game coordinator Chris Shula, as well as Michigan Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter, and while a decision isn't expected to be made anytime soon, both are genuine candidates.
With plenty of star power on all three levels, the Defensive Coordinator will have plenty of pressure on them to succeed after how they played in 2022, but with such good structure in place from this coaching staff, whoever they choose they will believe in 100%.Among the #Eagles defensive coordinator interviews to date: #Rams DBs coach/pass game coordinator Chris Shula and Michigan DC Jesse Minter, sources say. Shula and Nick Sirianni were together on the #Chargers’ coaching staff 2015-16.
