Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback Weighs In On Late Game Penalty In Super Bowl LVII
The Philadelphia Eagles came agonizingly close to winning their second Super Bowl in franchise history, but unfortunately, they lost in what some people have seen as controversial fashion, as cornerback James Bradberry was called for a hold on the final drive of the game.
While some have seen it as a bad play and referees making the game about themselves, Bradberry was asked about it after the game, and admitted to holding JuJu Smith-Schuster on the game defining play, saying he 'was hoping they would let it slide'.
Unfortunately, things like this happen throughout a game, this just happened to be in the big moment of a massive game, and while referees in the NFL should always be under scrutiny, this one is one they appeared to get right.For those who didn't like the call on James Bradberry, here's the word from the man himself:
