Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback Still Dealing With Toe Injury
The Philadelphia Eagles are just over a week away from their second Super Bowl appearance in the past five seasons, and with arguably the most stacked team in the entire NFL, they'll enter this one as a major favourite against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The last thing they need then is injuries, but today, cornerback Avonte Maddox was seen in a walking boot, still ailing from the toe injury that's kept him out of action for weeks, putting him in doubt for the Super Bowl.
He was able to play in the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers, which will give the team optimism that with 9 more days until the big game, he should be fine to play, but this is just one more thing that will be hanging over the team during their preparation.Avonte Maddox (toe) in walking boot at Eagles practicehttps://t.co/M0t3qlI962 pic.twitter.com/WHlENpVacj
