NFL Rumors: Very Real Chance Tennesee Titans Cut Wide Receiver This Offseason
Titans.com's Jim Wyatt writes that he doesn't expect wide receiver Robert Woods returning at his current price tag for the 2023 season.
Woods is scheduled to be on a $14.6 million cap hit for the 2023 season and the Tennesee Titans can save more than $12 million if they cut him.

Woods had a rough season, however, he was coming off a mid-season ACL tear in 2021 and was barely ready to play when he returned to action this year.
As a result, it would not be surprising to see the thirty-year-old return to being the talented and effective receiver that he is in 2023.
The Titans may attempt to rework his contract and bring him back on a smaller deal, but that remains to be seen.
In 17 games this past season, Woods had 53 receptions for 527 yards and two touchdowns on 91 targets.
