NFL Rumors: Green Bay Packers Could Re-Sign Veteran WR This Off-season
The Green Bay Packers did something very rare in 2022, and that was miss the playoffs, as this is a team that's been among the most consistent in the NFL over the past few decades, and now, with Aaron Rodgers likely on his way out, the team will need to build around whoever their next starting Quarterback is.
That man is likely to be Jordan Love, who has his supporters in the Packers organization, and it's recently been reported that the team is very likely to bring back veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb, who would help bring consistency to a team that is likely losing Allen Lazard this off-season to free agency.
In an injury plagued 2022 season, Cobb hauled in 34 catches for 417 yards and 1 Touchdown, but if he can stay healthy, he'll be a massive positive for the team in 2023, especially as a veteran presence for a likely young wide receiver group.
