NFL Rumors: New York Jets Exploring Reunion With Veteran QB
The New York Jets had a solid 2022, and with their elite defence and young core, many believe they can take the next step forward to the playoffs in 2023, but to do that, they need to fix the QB position, and thus far this off-season, they've been linked to just about every QB possible.
While Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr are likely their top two options, there's some beyond that, and reportedly, the team are exploring all options, with one other notable one, as the team has had discussions about reuniting with Geno Smith after his career year in 2022.
Geno didn't end his tenure with the Jets on good terms last time, but with a whole new regime and a talented young squad, highlighted by Breece Hall, Elijah Moore and Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson, it would certainly make for a fantastic story if they were to reunite.Update: The #Jets are exploring all options at QB, including bringing back Geno Smith to take over as the starter, per @AlbertBreer
