NFL Rumors: Cincinnati Bengals Could Cut Running Back This Off-Season
The Cincinnati Bengals have built one of the toughest and most exciting offences in the entire NFL in recent times, but with that success comes the need to pay some of those players, and with Tee Higgins potentially becoming a free agent next off-season, they have some crucial decisions to make.
While it would be tough for Bengals fans to see anyone from their team leave given the success in the past two years, it appears that running back Joe Mixon could be a salary cap casualty this off-season, which would save the Bengals potentially enough money to bring back Higgins.
With several talented running backs coming out in the 2023 NFL Draft, highlighted by Texas' Bijan Robinson, this could be the time for the Bengals to find a young, cheap option in the backfield, as it may help their offence for years to come.
