NFL Rumors: Atlanta Falcons Likely To Re-Sign Wide Receiver

According to The Athletic's Josh Kendall, the Atlanta Falcons appear likely to re-sign impending free agent Olamide Zaccheaus.

Zaccheaus was second on the team in receiving this past season, recording 40 receptions for 533 yards and three touchdowns over 17 games. In addition, the Falcons' wide receivers coach T.J. Yates praised him as being "an extremely unselfish guy."

Zaccheaus has steadily improved his numbers year over year, making career-highs in all his 2022 numbers.

The twenty-five-year-old should be cheap to extend and would give the Falcons a nice receiver while leaving them with lots of cap space to add another one.

Zaccheaus was an undrafted free agent out of UVA.

Kendall also believes the team will try to extend special team's leading tackler KhaDarel Hodge.
