NFL Reveal Concussions Rose In 2022
While the 2022 NFL regular season was widely considered a massive success by all, there were some problems, with likely the biggest of all being the concussion issues that remain very prominent in the sport, despite the NFL's best efforts to slow them down.
On Friday, the NFL officially revealed their findings of the season, announcing that 149 concussions were suffered throughout the season, which sees a 18% rise from the 2021 campaign, with several notable ones influencing teams seasons in a big way.
At this point, it looks like the NFL has a chance to reduce them slightly with harsher calls on defensive players, but overall, it's a sport that facilitates contact to the head, and until the day it becomes non-contact, it appears that concussions will always remain a part of the NFL.The NFL acknowledged Friday that concussions rose significantly during the 2022 regular season, a sobering outcome that aligned with a season-long public conversation about head injuries, per @SeifertESPN:https://t.co/PH7Kmn0kol
