New York Jets Still Have Plans For Struggling Young Quarterback
The New York Jets started 2022 strong, sitting at 5-2 after 7 weeks, but unfortunately, due to struggles at the Quarterback position, they were poor to finish the year, and are now in search of a veteran Quarterback to help them take the next step towards the playoffs.
This has put Zach Wilson, the 2021 No. 2 overall pick in a very strange position, as the Jets believe he can be a starter and fulfil his potential in the future, but if they do bring in a veteran, it's likely that they will be around until the end of his rookie deal.
On Tuesday, General Manager Joe Douglas said that they feel the Jets can help him reach that ceiling, so right now, the Quarterback position is going to be a very interesting one for the New York Jets going forward.Joe Douglas on Zach Wilson:
